Medium Tri-Colored Morel Mug

These mugs are fashioned after the fun and recognizable textures of Morel Mushrooms! They are thrown and waved on the wheel before the rims are trimmed to mimic the body. The bottom 2/3 is hand carved to embody the dimpled tops of the mushroom with an inlay of teal green, deep purple and merlot underglaze that matches the patina that shows through in the rest of the body. They have a 3-4 finger handle to go along with their large size. The Morel Mugs are fired 3 times to achieve the clean break line in the body and the bright color effect of the underglazes.
